Fresh off the heels of Eliud Kipchoge's remarkably fast 2:00:25 marathon, I was asked to be a part of Nike's campaign to celebrate runners leading up to the 2017 Chicago Marathon. Over the course of 3 customization events, participants told me their reasons for running, their time goals, the neighborhoods they represent, or even just their names and I lettered on their new Zoom Fly shoes to make their new shoes truly unique.
